Southern's technicians hand seam fabrics to fit individual specifications. 

Southern's spiral seams are made from corrosion resistance "peek" material.  This type of seam is used when the caliper or thickness of the seam needs to be similar to the caliper or thickness of the material being seamed.  

A woven seam is used to make a wire or fabric endless.  It is considered superior in strength to a pin seam.  It is used in a wide range of applications including forming fabrics, conveyor fabrics, dewatering belts and shrink sleeves.
